Karim Abu Kahla started practicing weightlifting through his father when he was 10 years old, and that was in the Matareya Youth Center in Dakahlia under the leadership of Captain Ahmed Al-Rifai, who trained him and founded him in the sport of weightlifting until he moved to the military school in Minya at the age of 14 years. He moved to Tala’a El-Geish Club in 2014 until now and joined the Egyptian weightlifting team in 2013 under the leadership of Captain Khaled Qarni, the coach of the team in that period after winning the Republic’s championship, and his first international championship was the World Under-17 Championship, and he achieved the bronze medal Among its most prominent tournaments is the 2019 African Games in Morocco
